Who we are

Hodnefield Services LLC was founded by Kolby Hodnefield in 2021 with a passion for running equipment and delivering excellent service. What started with stump grinding and lawn care services has evolved into a trusted business offering tree and stump removal, as well as garden tilling. We proudly serve St. Croix County and surrounding areas.

What began as a way for Kolby to explore his entrepreneurial spirit has grown into a family business, with Kolby and his dad working together to serve the community. As the business expanded, they recognized the increasing need to address the number of dead ash trees in the area, which led to the addition of tree removal services. With the purchase of a dump truck and wood chipper, they’ve been able to handle larger jobs, ensuring top-quality results for every customer.

In addition to tree and stump removal, Hodnefield Services LLC offers garden tilling in the spring and snow removal during the winter months. Snow removal is offered exclusively north of Hammond, around Pheasant Hills Golf Course. Whether it’s removing a tree, grinding a stump, or clearing snow, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable and efficient services that meet the needs of our customers.
